The Most Beautiful Petite Girl Nigeria Hospitality 2018.

My Passion For Humanity.

I have always loved to be my brothers and my sisters keeper,I have always love to help people in need, the less privileged.

For me I think serving humanity is a God given gift which I have passion for, seeing others smile brings happiness to me.

Things needs to be done differently where the Government are not left alone to Carter for the less privilege in the society.

With the little we have we can give a helping hands, showing love with the little you have can go a long way in putting smile on peoples face.

Its a challenge for me to make sure I put smile on the face of people in need of social welfare.

Its a call to service and passion to Humanity, I want the youth in Nigeria to also wake up to their responsibility to show love to the less privilege in our society & Community.

As we don't need millions of Naira to show love..sometimes we don't even need a penny to do this.

African Clean Up Initiative Live at Ojo Waterside

*ACI Live At Ojo Waterside*

Away from the busy life of Badagry Express, Team ACI took a stroll to Ojo Waterside, a riverline area in Ojo Local Government area of Lagos.

Your community friendly NGO, African Clean Up Initiative (ACI) embarked on this courtesy visit in view of her Beyond Waste Project proposed to hold in one of the riverline villages soon.

Team ACI learnt that between Badagry and CMS, there are over 1000 villages. These villages are located between the river and the sea.

And some of the villagers come to Ojo Waterside through canoe or engine boat transportation for commercial purposes.  An appreciable level of commercial activity exist at this jetty. This is mostly because Ojo Waterside overlooks the Ojo Market. Hence, the villages courtesy of the jetty are able to interact with persons living on land, buy and sell their wares.

Team ACI gathered that life is calm in the villages. However that does down play the dire need for community development projects within any of the communities.

Team ACI is yet to decide the first community to benefit from the Beyond Waste Project. Beyond Waste is an ACI program targeted at the health and social issues of people living in low income communities.

As plans unfold, we will keep you posted. As you  certainly must have know, uplifting the living standard of people in low income community is our collective effort.

We have done it before for some communities like Orisumibare in Apapa, Makoko, Marine Beach, Onne in River State and Mosquito village in Ajegunle. We still can do it again joining hands to put smiles in the lives of people in low income communities.

Health Budget Performance Campain#FundNaijaHealth

HEALTH BUDGET PERFORMANCE CAMPAIGN
#FundNaijaHealth
SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLKIT
WHY FUND NAIJA HEALTH
Background
Despite reductions in maternal and newborn mortality across the world, Nigeria still faces the worse form of healthcare challenges especially for mothers and their newborns. Nigeria is faced with multifaceted health challenges ranging from lapses in maternal and newborn healthcare, shortage of skilled health personnel, poorly equipped medical facilities, and unavailability of life-saving commodities needed to save mothers and newborns, inadequate health facilities, etc. These health challenges are particularly pronounced in rural areas and among the poorest and most marginalized. The rate of pregnancy-related injuries, infections, diseases, disabilities and preventable adverse newborn health outcomes are still very high. These challenges are preventable but requires government’s financial commitment in delivering quality healthcare services that work for all and especially for mothers and newborns.

One of the major healthcare delivery challenges we have in the country is that resources are not always made available for Key critical health interventions. Nigeria is yet to meet the Abuja target to allocate 15 per cent of the budget to health. It is also important to note that the little that is budgeted to health are often not released on time, thereby reducing the chances of women and children from, benefitting from what was allocated. This is because approved budget is not often released in record time, and when released it is misappropriated.
About MamaYe- Evidence for Action
MamaYe-Evidence for Action is about saving the lives of Africa’s mothers and babies. We empower local and global voices with the evidence to make pregnancy and childbirth safer. We believe that we can work together as ordinary people in advocating for issues that replaces assumptions with answers, turn apathy into action, and ensure maternal and newborn survival is made a constant political priority and at the forefront of political agenda.

Across Nigeria, health systems are making slow progress in improving maternal and newborn survival despite a strong evidence base that describes the interventions needed to save the lives of mothers and babies. MamaYe-E4A acts as a catalyst for action, using evidence strategically to generate political commitment, strengthen accountability and inform planning and budgeting for quality maternal and newborn health care delivery through advocacy.
About The Campaign MamaYe- Evidence for Action launched the #FundNaijaHealth Campaign, A Health Budget Performance Campaign in an effort to draw attention of policy and decision makers and the relevant ministries responsible for the implementation of health policies and plans, on issues bothering around timely Release and utilization of appropriated funds for health and provision of oversight function in the monitoring and evaluation of impact of the funds released to improve accountability and transparency in health budgetary process.
The #FundNaijaHealth Campaign intends to create awareness around these issues aforementioned and work closely with stakeholders through collective participatory process to mitigate those bottlenecks. This is in recognition of constitutional responsibility of government to achieving quality healthcare to citizenry in line with the sustainable Development Goals and the Universal Health Coverage which are some of the international treaties Nigerian government has signed and pledged to uphold.
Campaign Message
Government should release all appropriated health allocations on time, as this will enhance access to the healthcare services for citizens, particularly mothers and newborns receive.
The States Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, and States Ministry of Health should regularly publish on-line the health budget process and other budgetary information, to facilitate increased citizen participation in the budgetary process, and in the implementation and impact tracking of released funds
The Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning, and the Federal Ministry of Health should regularly publish on-line the health budget process and other budgetary information, to facilitate increased citizen participation in the budgetary process, and in the implementation and impact tracking of released funds
Government should work towards increasing annual budgetary allocation to health to meet the 15 per cent target agreed by the Heads of Governments of African nations.

Join the Campaign
Together with one voice we can achieve the desired change; the campaign is for all Nigerians to actively participate and amplify so that the targeted goal will be achieved. Here are couple of ways you can participate in driving the campaign:
Join health advocacy team in your state to carry stakeholders engagement activities that will amplify the campaign objectives towards finding sustainable solutions to the challenges identified
Use the #hashtag to engage and discuss with relevant stakeholders online on the importance of timely release of appropriated funds for health for the improvement of our healthcare system.
Partner with MamaYe and the States Led Accountability Mechanism for Maternal and Newborn Health to achieve accountability and transparency in the health sector
Be the voice that helped in achieving this campaign goal in Nigeria

Construction of Roads Regularly can prevent Flooding. DELTA State Nigeria community project on how to avoid Flooding

TESTIMONY OF AN EYE WITNESS
ASABA FLOODING. : WHAT IS THIS OKOWA GOVT DOING ABOUT IT?
Akamesike Manuel O'coney
Before you allow people who live in anger and envy to start polluting your mind about the issue of flooding in Asaba, always take your time to ask yourself some vital questions. For the benefit of those outside the state and who rely on information from the social or print media or even gossips to know what is happening in the state, I am bringing to you the current situation of things from Asaba.
I was there, I saw it and I spoke with the engineers. I am bold to say that Gov OKOWA'S govt is doing something big about the flooding. The govt is committed to tackling the issue . As at today, I can conveniently tell you that the Chukwuma Nzeogwu and DLA roads including Jesus Saves road have been concluded and as soon as this underground drainage/storm water control is completed, Asaba will be having these 3 roads in place. The 2 next major roads that will be following after these are Mariam Babangida Way and the Asaba-Kwale road.
Yes, I can confidently say it that the govt of Gov Okowa is doing something seriously concerning the issue of Asaba flooding. Do not allow those who in their true mind never liked or supported the development of Asaba to try using politics to deceive you about the true intent of this govt towards Asaba development.
Things may not have been running at the speed we all expected but the truth remains that something is happening.
Before they start twisting your thoughts about the above pictures and assertion, what you see here is real. There are not photoshopped. Take a drive or walk to Old Anwai road around the FMC,Asaba and you will see this wonder.
When next they come with issue of flooding in Asaba or they bring any of those old pictures of flooding in Asaba, quietly tell them that I, Akamesike said that govt is tackling the issue seriously. Do not let them get away free with their political propaganda. Speaking to me, one of the expatriate engineers handling the project assured me that when this project is completed, the case of flooding in Asaba will become a thing of the past.
Note it down again . When they bring up the flooding issue in Asaba as if they really care about Asaba development, tell them to their face that the Dr OKOWA'S govt is seriously tackling that problem and very soon, the flooding you see in Asaba now, you will see it no more.
Speaking to me on a "Bare it all" interview, Gov Okowa reiterated his honest commitment to the development of the state capital and entire state for as long as our resources permits.
He deserves our support. Criticise him constructively and use the Public Bureau Service to share your ideas on how best the state can be served. It is our state and governors come and go.
Stop throwing stones carelessly but rather gather your stones and take it to the Public Bureau Service . The state needs all of us. Be a positive Deltan.
IT SHALL GET BETTER FOR US AND OUR LAND!

(THE YOUNG CLIMATE HEROES) THE BOOK WRITTEN BY BABAJIDE OLUWASE,UN YOUTH ADVOCATE ON CLIMATE RELATED ISSUE & DRR IN AFRICA

The Young Climate Heroes – Babajide Oluwase

For a long time, Nigeria’s environmental condition has witnessed a drastic change in temperature, climatic patterns, and weather conditions. These conditions have been intensified by human-induced activities like poor waste management, eco-illiteracy, deforestation, and open-air burning. Rather than complain about the issue, Babajide Oluwase would choose to do otherwise. His interest in environmental advocacy stemmed from various environmental activities involved as an advocate right from his high school days.
“The journey started during my secondary school days back in 2008. I was inducted as one of the carefully-chosen inaugural members of the Climate Change Club (CCC) in Lagos, a signature project of former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, says Babajide. “Engagement with this group helped me realize the impact of global warming and climate change on humans and the environment”
As a teenager then, he was consumed by an urgent fear as well as the urge to do everything possible to increase awareness and reduce the negative impact of climate change so that every stakeholder (individuals, government and businesses) know the role they must play to save the environment.

Since 2012, Babajide has actively worked with over a dozen environmentalists to sensitize different stakeholder groups about climate change using observable examples around as teaching tools. He however, continued to experience setbacks especially as it concerned stepping down this knowledge in ways that children would effectively understand and appreciate it. He knew he had to do something about getting the next generation involved in this cause.
In 2016, Babajide published a book titled “Young Climate Heroes” using story and comical illustration to simplify technical terms underlying climate change, to enable children easily understand. In the words of 7 year old Gloria who read the book, “I adore Young Climate Heroes because I have learnt about making the world healthy by recycling our garbage to something useful”. This reaffirms one’s conviction on the need to educate the next generation about climate change.
Remarkably, over 6000 secondary school students have been educated through this book in the last two years. To sustain the impact accomplished and replicate the gains of the book across various Nigerian communities, Babajide is working with other environmental advocates to start a ”Green Heroes Club” in secondary schools. The aim is to identify and empower interested students and teachers to start and sustain environmental projects in schools and communities.

Catching Them Young is one of the best ways to achieve a sustainable environment in communities as young people are in the best position to drive a real movement towards sustainability. Babajide has proven that local problems are best solved locally. Rather than complain, you can decide to proffer solution to just one problem faced in your community today. His plan is to continue to strengthen engagement with the public on various environmental issues and to be the voice leading positive change in this space in decades to come.
